Camille Thommes

Director General, Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), Luxembourg

Camille Thommes is the Director General of ALFI since 2007. Previously he was in charge of the Investment Fund Department at the Luxembourg State and Savings Bank, after holding various senior positions in the Securities & Custody department. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Supervisory Authority (CSSF) and a member of the Consultative Committee for Prudential Regulation. Furthermore, Camille represents ALFI at the Board of Directors of the European Fund and Asset Management association (EFAMA) and is a Board member of IIFA (International Investment Funds Association). A Luxembourg native, Camille is fluent in English, French, German and Luxembourgish.
