Dr. George Theocharides

Dr. George Theocharides (BΕng (Hons), MBA, PhD) is the Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). He is also the Chairman of the Risk Standing Committee (RSC). The RSC is part of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the successor of the Committee for Economic and Markets Analysis (CEMA), for which Dr. Theocharides served also as Chairman, between March and December 2022. He served as CySEC’s Vice Chairman from July 2020 to September 2021 and was previously a CySEC Board member. He has extensive experience working in the wider financial sector.

Marine Duverger joined Apollo in October 2024 as a Client Portfolio Manager. In this role Marine covers Apollo’s Private Credit solutions offered to Wealth clients in EMEA. Marine joined from Citi Global Wealth, where she was a Senior Vice President and Investment Specialist. Prior to Citi, Marine spent over 6 years as a Senior Client Portfolio Manager at H2O Asset Management. She started her career as a Prime Brokerage Sales at Société Générale (formerly known as Newedge).

Dr Massimiliano Castelli - Managing Director, Head of Strategy & Advice, Global Sovereign Markets, UBS AM. As Head of Strategy in the team serving sovereign institutions globally, he analyses the market trends affecting the investment behaviour of central banks, sovereign wealth funds and other state-controlled investment institutions. He works closely with the investment teams in providing investment advice and developing tailored investment solutions for clients. Max is the Co-Chairman of the Asset Management Investment Committee (AMIC) at ICMA.

Petros Krappas is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates. He is based in our London office and is a member of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Research Team. His responsibilities include identifying and monitoring investment firms and their portfolio companies, as well as carrying out due diligence. Additionally, Petros is responsible for analysing market conditions and tracking the private equity and venture capital industry trends. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Petros worked at a private market investor, Pathway Capital Management, where he was a Vice President with a focus on European private equity primary investments and co-investments. Before that, he was a member of the investment team at VenCap International, a UK-based venture capital investor. Petros received a MSc in International Money, Finance, and Investments from Durham University and a BSc in Statistics from University of Piraeus. He is a CFA® charterholder.

William Vettorato joined EQT in April 2023 as Advisory Head of Fund Strategy for EQT Nexus from Partners Group, where he has been the Senior Portfolio Manager of their Global Value SICAV fund in addition to being responsible for the portfolio management of key private wealth management offerings (ELTIFs, master-feeder structures, joint- initiatives). Prior to join Partners Group, William was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in London, where he worked as a financial engineer and exotic option structure. William holds an M.Sc. in Financial Econometrics from the University of Venice, Italy, and an M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).
