James Duvall an Economist in the industry and financial analysis section of ICI’s research department. Since joining in 2012, Duvall has primarily participated in research examining US mutual fund fees across the industry and in retirement plans, and more recently, the costs and charges of UCITS. He also contributes to research on closed-end funds and worldwide regulated funds. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in mathematics and a BA in economics and holds a master’s degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University.
