George Campanellas is the Chief Executive Officer of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus) and the Vice President of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He has nearly twenty years of professional experience in Cyprus and abroad, working with the DG Competition in Brussels and directly with the Cypriot Ministers of Health and Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism. George has been actively involved in the development of the oil & gas sector in the Cyprus Exclusive Economic Zone, dealing with licensing, exploration and exploitation activities, as well as promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation at a regional level. Throughout his career, he also had an active role in drafting the regulatory framework and running the relevant licensing procedures for attracting Foreign Direct Investment in sectors of strategic importance and large-scale infrastructure projects, such as the LNG terminal at Vasilikos Energy Center, Cyprus Techno Park, EuroAsia Interconnector and the City of Dreams Mediterranean, Europe’s largest integrated casino resort and Cyprus’ largest FDI project.

Andreas Yiasemides is the President of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and a Partner at PwC Cyprus, in charge of the Fund Services of the organisation. On his graduation from the University of Manchester with a first class degree in Economics, he joined PwC in 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA). He continued his career with the Bank of Cyprus, holding various positions including heading the Custody and Trust sUnit. He then moved on to an organisation of professional services where he set up and led the Fund Services Unit.He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Cyprus and of the Central Bank of Cyprus aswell as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He is also Vice Chairman of the Cyprus National Advisory Council of Charter Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). Andreas Yiasemides has also been elected as the President of the Cyprus India Business Association.

Robert Parker is Chairman of the International Capital Markets Association and chairs the Asset Management and Investors Council. He has worked in the capital markets for approximately 45 years, starting his career in corporate finance in France, then being a member of the N M Rothschild investment team and later he was a founder of Crédit Suisse First Boston’s investment activities. After 35 years, he retired from Crédit Suisse in May 2017. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Arcus European Infrastructure and is Vice Chairman of the Quilvest Investment Committee. He gained his BA and MA in economics from Cambridge University.

David Zahn leads the management of European fixed income strategies and is a member of the Fixed Income Policy Committee. He is also a portfolio manager for a number of Global Aggregate and Global Government fixed income portfolios. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2006, David was a senior portfolio manager at Citigroup Asset Management. Demetra Kalogerou (BSc, MSc, MPhil) is the Chairwoman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission,the public independent supervisory authority responsible for the overall supervision of the securities market inCyprus. She is also a member of the five-member Public Oversight Committee that supervises auditors andaudit firms. Furthermore, from September 2013 to June 2014, she served as a member of the then tripartite Resolution Authority together with the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus.Previously she served as a Senior Officer of the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Overall she has more than 15 yearsof experience in the financial sector.

Kyra Brown is the Regulatory Development Manager at Aviva Investors. She is responsible for impact analysis of EU, UK and International regulatory development, and assisting the business with interpretation, feedback, planning and implementation. Laurent Babikian is Director Capital Markets at CDP Europe, having started his career in 1991 working with BankIndosuez for 10 years. In 2000, he co-founded, Afternext, a start-up incubator and coached entrepreneurs toaccelerate their business before creating Corcovado, his own consultancy company, for which he moved to Brazilin 2007. Michalis P. Michael is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency since January 2018. He has a long professional career in business and audit services, both as a sole practitioner andas a Partner at KPMG Cyprus. Michalis has vast experience in the Ukrainian market and he is the Chairman of the Cyprus-Ukraine Business Association from 2012 until today. Michalis has been actively involved with public life since his early career. Formerly, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus BroadcastingCorporation (1996-2000), Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Organisation of Land Development (2000-2003), Member of the Committee for the Supervision and Development of Cooperative Societies (2003-2013). He was also Member of the Board of Directors of The Cyprus University of Technology (2014-2016), where he currently holds the position of Vice-President (July 2016-today). Dr. Vassiliki Lazarakou is the Chair at the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission and the ESAs Joint Committee’s Securitisation Committee. Vassiliki has a Doctorate in Law (JSD) from New York University School of Law, NewYork, U.S.A. She also has an LLM in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law and Bachelor in Law from the Athens University, School of Law. She is a lawyer admitted at both the Athens Bar and the New York Bar Association with expertise on capital markets, M&As, privatizations, corporate and commercial law and other similar issues. She has worked for more than 20 years as a Partner at several law firms and for more than 10 years she was heading the relevant Banking, Capital Markets and Finance Department of such Firms. From 2012 -2015 she was also a First Vice-Chair of the HCMC and an alternate member of BoS.
