Joao Pratas

Joao Pratas has been Chairman of the Portuguese Fund Association (APFIPP) since 2020. He was a Member of the Board of APFIPP and Chairman of APFIPP's Technical Committee of Mutual Funds in 2016-2017. He also represents APFIPP as a Member of the Board of EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association). In 1998, he joined the Portuguese Group BPI (now the Spanish Caixabank Group), where he has been Coordinating Manager since 2002, and a Member of the Board of Caixabank Asset Management Luxembourg SA since 2005. He was also a Member of the Board of the asset management company BPI Gestão de Ativos from 2016-2020 and of the insurance company BPI Vida e Pensões in 2016-2018.
