Constantinos Petrides

Constantinos Petrides was appointed Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus in December 2019. Prior to this, he served as Minister of Interior and Deputy Minister to the President. From 2006-2011, he worked as an economist at DG Agriculture and DG Competition of the European Commission. From 2000-2006, he was a Senior Officer at the Association of Cyprus Banks, while in 2000, he worked on EU-Cyprus harmonisation issues at the Planning Bureau. He studied Economics at the University of Nottingham and later obtained an MSc in Political Economy from the LSE.
