Giovanni Papini

CEO, Managing Director & Head of Southern Europe, UBS Asset Management, Italy

In addition to his role as Head of Wholesale Client Coverage Southern Europe, Giovanni Papini was appointed Country Head Italy for Asset Management in November 2017. He was previously responsible for the wholesale segment Italy and was appointed CEO of UBS AM SGR in 2005, having started his career with UBS in 2001 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining UBS, he worked for an Italian banking institution in roles spanning the world of Human Resources, business development and corporate banking. In his final role, he was responsible for the bank’s entire branch and financial advisor network.
