JASPER VAN HEESCH

Private Equity Sector Senior Analyst & Coverage Director, RSM UK

Jasper van Heesch is a director in RSM UK's private equity practice and is based out of the London office. He was selected for the firm's Industry Eminence Program in 2022 to serve as a senior analyst covering the global private equity space. He works alongside the firm's chief economist and other program participants in the UK and US to analyze trends and themes shaping the PE landscape for middle market businesses. Jasper also has a coverage role where his focus there is to help the firm's international PE clients benefit from the consulting, tax and audit expertise that lies in RSM UK and its global network.

AGATHI PAFILI

Vice President, Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs, Europe, Capital Group, Belgium
Agathi Pafili is Vice President at Capital Group and is head of Europe government and regulatory affairs. She has 20 years of policy and industry experience and has been with Capital Group for more than 3 years. Prior to joining Capital, Agathi was a senior policy advisor at the European Funds and Asset Management Association. Before that, she worked in the European Parliament as policy advisor for Members of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee and a cabinet member of the Chair of the Culture and Educations Affairs Committee. She holds a master's degree in international and European law and is a member of the Athens Bar Association. Agathi is based in Brussels.

EVA MYKOLENKO

Institute (ICI) Global, USA
Eva M. Mykolenko is Associate Chief Counsel, Securities Regulation with the Investment Company Institute and ICI Global. Mykolenko advocates on behalf of global regulated funds and their investors to securities regulators and multinational organizations in the United States and abroad. She started with the Institute in 2008 after more than eight years in private practice at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP. While in private practice, Mykolenko advised mutual fund, hedge fund, and investment adviser clients on a variety of compliance, regulatory, and transactional matters. Mykolenko received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.

CORRADO MACCHIARELLI

Economist, International Monetary Fund, USA
Corrado Macchiarelli is an Economist in the IMF’s Money and Capital Markets Department. Before, Corrado was Manager for Global Macroeconomics Research at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) and an Associate Professor in Finance and Economics at Brunel University in London. Between 2015 and 2020, Corrado has been working as part of a team of monetary policy experts for the European Parliament. Previously, he was an Economist in the ECB’s Euro Area Macroeconomics Developments Division. Corrado holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Turin-Collegio Carlo Alberto and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the London School of Economics.

Dr. XIAOLIN CHEN

Head of International, KraneShares, UK
Dr. Xiaolin Chen is the Head of International at KraneShares and manages the firm's business outside of the United States. She oversees efforts to solidify KraneShares' thought leadership throughout the industry. Before joining the firm, Xiaolin was responsible for managing $70 billion in client portfolios at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Dr. Chen has extensive experience developing strategic asset allocation for clients globally investing across traditional and liquid alternative investments. Having lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and the U.S., Xiaolin brings an unparalleled market insight to her client engagements worldwide. Xiaolin Chen is a regular speaker on CNBC and Bloomberg among various broadcast and online media, and a frequent contributor to national and international publications. She also holds a Bachelor and PhD’s Degree in Computer Science obtained from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom.

THOMAS TILLEY

Senior Economist, European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), Belgium
Thomas Tilley is a Senior Economist at EFAMA with an extensive background in central banking and macro-economic statistics, both at the European Central Bank and the National Bank of Belgium. He closely follows developments in a variety of investment fund trends (net fund sales, fund ownership, cross-border funds and more), both at a European and national level. He also coordinates EFAMA’s yearly flagship Fact Book and Asset Management Report publications. In addition, he is responsible for EFAMA’s data collection on ESG and the contact point for the European Fund Classification.

Head of Startup-Services, Austrian Federal Economic Chamber
Kambis Kohansal Vajargah is Head of Startup-Services at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. He is the founding partner of several startup companies, including whatchado, Saturo, Carployee, Freebiebox or ALVERI and angel investor at Gateway Ventures and Founders of Europe. The World Economic Forum has chosen him as a European Digital Leader guiding the digital transformation of Europe. Besides, he is advisory board member at SXSW Pitch, juror at the World Summit Awards and European Youth Award and has been named Austrian ambassador for integration. Since 2011, he has been actively advising startups from all over the world how to scale up their ventures globally. His motto: Believe. Execute. Learn.
